The government is allocating RM100 million for digitalization grants of up to RM5,000 to benefit over 20,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and micro-entrepreneurs.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that these grants can be used to upgrade sales, inventory, and digital accounting systems. Additionally, RM900 million from Bank Negara Malaysia will support SME productivity through automation and digitization.
The government will also invest RM40 million in the Shop Malaysia Online Program to assist small traders, particularly in the food sector, and strengthen Digital Economy Centers with an allocation of RM25 million to support online sales.
