The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has announced the opening of applications for three significant grants: the Digital Content Grant (DCG) for 2024/2025, the Malaysia Digital Catalyst Grant (MDCG), and the Malaysia Digital Export Grant (MDXG). Applications are open from September 9, 2024, until fully committed.
The DCG offers various grants, including the Mini-Grant (up to RM150,000) and the Prime Grant (up to RM500,000), aimed at supporting digital content producers. The Marketing & Commercialisation Grant provides up to RM300,000 for commercializing digital products.
The MDCG grants up to RM1 million or 50% of project costs to promote innovation, while the MDXG supports companies aiming for global expansion with similar funding limits. Both grants are available to companies with Malaysia Digital (MD) status, which MDEC encourages others to pursue for enhanced support and visibility in the digital economy.
